Lineolated parakeets in it's wildtype form exhibits a grassy green body colour with black edging on the feathers. It's genetic behavior is similar to the Peach Faced lovebird. There are several mutations presently in existance.  Unlike the peach faced lovebird, there is only one blue form. There are other factor that affects the base colours, one of those being the Dark Factor. There are also - ed mutations, the Ino, and the cinnamon. In our aviary we breed the green (wildtype), dark green (jade), double dark green (olive), blue, dark blue (cobalt), double dark blue (slate, or Mauve), green ino (lutino), and blue ino (creamino).
